Daniel Arackal

Junior at Texas A&M building quantitative models, cloud infrastructure, and software that turns complex problems into elegant solutions.

About

A little background.

I'm an Industrial Engineering major with a Computer Science minor at Texas A&M University, class of 2027.

My work lives at the intersection of quantitative finance and systems engineering. As a Quantitative Analyst with the Maroon Fund, I build ML models to predict trade signals and design portfolio allocation systems that balance risk and return.

Previously, I interned at Cloudtop Office building server monitoring infrastructure and deploying storage systems. I'm always looking for problems where engineering thinking and code can create tangible impact.

Maroon Fund · Texas A&M Scholars of Finance

Building ML-powered trading systems for a student-led investment fund managing $70K in university capital. Designing models that predict optimal trade signals and allocation engines that manage portfolio risk.

Cloudtop Office

Built server infrastructure from the ground up — monitoring dashboards, storage systems, and tooling that gave the team real-time visibility into their entire cloud environment.
